I know it was two days ago and it's over, but there are a few more things I want to say, and then I'll let it drop.

I rant when I'm stressed, and because of everything that's been going on for the past year and a half, I've been stressed to the max for quite a while. Sometimes I say things I don't mean or exaggerate a situation because stupid, insignificant things bother me when I'm stressed, and venting is therapeutic.

I realize I can be passive, but I'm by no means a doormat. I take care of my problems, and I take care of them privately. I don't air out my laundry, I don't publicize things that are nobody's business, and I don't volunteer every tidbit of information to my friends. If you want to know something, you can come to me directly; I am honest. There is no need for you to do me any favors by repeating something I told you in confidence in an effort to make me deal with something you think I'm letting go by the wayside.

Yes, it still upsets me. I don't like being suspicious of everyone I talk to.

ETA: Now for something lighter...

Your result for Roleplayer Test!...

The Portraitist

Random, Character-Oriented, Platonic

As a Portraitist, the character is everything to you. You value the character's personality and development more than anything else, and your goal in roleplay is to flesh the character out in any and every way possible. You're the method actor of the roleplay world: you know your character through and through (you've probably done a ton of research) and you enjoy throwing your character into new and random situations just to prompt interesting reactions. However, you're hard to involve in any plots, mostly because ongoing stories that don't focus on exploring your character's innermost depths quickly bore you. Also, you might like to put your character in tragic/stressful situations a little too much.

Take Roleplayer Test! at HelloQuizzy

I don't agree with the last two sentences. I would overwhelm myself if I continuously did plots that focused on exploring my character's 'innermost depths'. Also, I rarely put anyone in tragic or stressful situations for the simple fact that I'm afraid it would seem gratuitous, lol. o3o;;

Here's a meme stolen from a few people. Yes, I know it's still pretty useless in terms of content, but at least it's something more than a link or a quiz, right? 8| Besides, it's been a while. MAYBE SOME OF YOU DON'T EVEN REMEMBER ME~!

The problem with LJ: we all think we are so close, but really, we know nothing about each other.

So I want you to ask me something you think you should know about me. Something that should be obvious, but you have no idea about.

Ask away.

Then post this in your LJ and find out what people don't know about you!

What is the most embarrassing thing that's ever happened to you at work?
...Nothing embarassing has really happened to me at any of my jobs. XD; SO INSTEAD, I SHALL TELL YOU ABOUT MY MOST EMBARRASSING SCHOOL INCIDENT. Which... isn't all that embarrassing and more stupid than anything else. XD I accidentally walked into the wrong classroom, and instead of going 'lolwhoops', I made up some lame excuse as to why I was there. I told the teacher that there was a little girl in the bathroom, crying for him. And there wasn't. Don't ask me why I did that, I was a social dumbass in 7th grade. :|;;;

2. ASIDE FROM PHOENIX AND EDGEWORTH, who else do you like from Phoenix Wright?
Is 'everyone' an option? I didn't even like Edgeworth at first, to be honest. Even after his sob story, I was like, "Dude, he's still an asshole." It took until the last case of the second game before he really grew on me. I like Mia and Larry on the same level that I like Edgeworth, and after that... everyone else is a close third? XD; In fact, it might be easier to name off the characters I don't like than the ones that I do.

3. Do you think you could quit RP altogether, if given the right amount of money?
As long as I could still write fanfiction and make up stuff in my head, sure. XDb

4. If your life was a musical for one day, what part would be the most interesting?
The part where my whole family (plus Bryan and Manda) are over for dinner. We have the most interesting conversations, from politics to eyeball-licking to things I probably shouldn't mention. 8D;

5. What is the dorkiest fandom-related thing that you own?
My room. :| Seriously. It's like a fandom explosion in here. I'm... actually planning on putting away most of my fandom-related stuff when I order my new furniture. But when I get a place of my own, I will make sure I have a room entirely devoted to nerdery.
Personality
Occupying the last position in the Chinese Zodiac, the 12th, the Pig symbolizes such character traits as diligence, compassion, and generosity. Pigs enjoy life and because they are entertaining, others enjoy their company. Pigs are giving souls and reap much enjoyment when they’re helping others, but sometimes they give too much. Honesty is what Pigs give and it’s what they expect to receive in return.

[I can't say much about that one because it relates to how other people see me. Am I any of those things? I don't know.]

Pigs seek peace and will do what is necessary to maintain it. This trait, while admirable, sometimes makes it easy for others to take advantage of Pigs. Pigs are always doing for others, helping anyway they can, but rarely will they ask others for help. This can overwhelm and stress them, but Pigs don’t mind.

[I ask for help when I need it, but I do prefer to do things on my own.]

When it comes to money, Pigs enjoy spending more than saving. They gravitate towards name brand items. Thriftiness happens only occasionally, but Pigs do know how to find great deals.

[Actually, I hoard my money like it's going out of style. I do like to spend, but I have a certain limit, and once my checking or savings account reaches a certain level, I don't spend any more until it's well above that level.]

Health
Always seeking fun, Pigs often indulge more than they should. Excessive eating, drinking and smoking can cause sickness. Pigs aren’t very active and, combined with their excessive behaviors, cause them to gain weight. Pigs are social and being alone makes them unhappy. Pigs would benefit from adopting a healthier lifestyle.

[I rather like being alone a lot of the time, actually. XD;; ...Well, maybe not. I like being alone with Tif, which really isn't very alone at all.]

Career
Pigs enjoy helping at work and can always be counted on. They enjoy opportunities that allow them to express their creativity. Pigs are detail-oriented, a trait admired by management. Pigs aren’t afraid to take on responsibility. Some good career choices for Pigs include: entertainer, caterer, doctor, veterinarian, or interior decorator. They’d do well in retail or hospitality.

[I was going to be an animator, once upon a time...]

Relationships
Supportive and giving, Pigs make great partners. They’re affectionate and sexual and prefer staying home to going out. They enjoy what they have, especially their home and family. Once they find the right partner, they’re typically committed for the long-term.

[That fits pretty well, actually.]

Water Pigs – Years 1923 and 1983
Water Pigs are trustworthy almost to a fault. Others can easily influence Water Pigs, but Water Pigs are also good at influencing others to get what they want. They’re extremely social and enjoy having a good time.

[Is this true? I don't know. :|]

So, I've been in pain for the last few days. I initially thought I'd slept wrong, but the pain has been persisting and moving around the area of my neck and shoulders, so I think it's nerve-related. I lived on ibuprofen over the weekend (which was so much fun--I'll have to talk about that later. I went GHOST HUNTING), but it didn't help a lick. I still have some vicodin left over from when my tooth was hurting, so I've opted to take that (heheh, TAKE THAT) for now. It didn't seem like it was helping at first, but I guess it took a while to kick in. My neck doesn't feel all better, but it feels great and so do I, rofl. I'll probably be popping them like candy until I can get a dr's appointment, which will hopefully be no later than tomorrow. It's been painful to the point that it's hard to move sometimes.

But it's all good times right now. Good times, good times.
